Chalet Val D'Isere Bed & Breakfast exceeded our expectations! Cheri's warm hospitality and scrumptious gluten-free breakfasts made our stay unforgettable.

The stay featured a delightful homemade breakfast, including a delicious puffed pancake and a flavorful asparagus-mushroom omelet. The room was meticulously clean and provided a comfortable space with a large shower. Additionally, the host offered excellent suggestions for local dining and attractions, enhancing the overall experience. However, the absence of a bathtub in the room may not suit everyone’s preferences, and the hot tub was an amenity we didn't utilize during our visit. Still, the atmosphere was cozy and warm, making it a memorable getaway.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay in the King Room. Cheri’s adaptability in preparing hiker breakfast was a lifesaver! The pristine environment and cozy atmosphere made for a memorable experience. Pro tip, bring a light cover for the bright TV light to ensure a restful sleep.

We stayed in the Alpenglow room and loved how close we were to the Rotary Park Boardwalk, making our morning walks super enjoyable, and Cheri's delicious breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay even as we rushed to catch an early trailhead.

This place was amazing for our anniversary! Sherry was super sweet and such a talented cook. We loved the intimate vibe with only two rooms. The hot tub was a nice touch, and the view was incredible! Only thing was the drive up the mountain can be a bit steep, but totally worth it. Loved the picnic area too!

Only downside was the shower size. it could be a bit cramped for taller folks. Also, the TV had a bright blue light that was really distracting at night. But overall, it was a nice experience.

Some minor inconveniences include the lack of daily housekeeping, which means you’re stuck handling your own trash and towels, a bit of a letdown for a place at this price point. The distance from downtown is noticeable. public transport isn't close by, and walking can be a trek, making it inconvenient for spontaneous outings. A couple of rooms have smaller showers that might feel cramped compared to expectations, and the sound carries through the house, which could intrude on privacy for light sleepers.

It was just an optimal selection for a quick stopover in Steamboat Springs with great value. I loved the fresh fruits and baked goods waiting in the room—really nice touch! Make sure to ask about local dining recommendations.
